2026-06-02 - The MITICA beam source leaves the ALSYMEX facility in Tarbes, France, for the ���ߺ��� Neutral Beam Test Facility in Padua, Italy. The beam source is a critical part of the MITICA full-scale neutral beam injector prototype that will test neutral beam injection based on negative ion technology ahead of operation on ���ߺ���.

2026-05-22 - With the arrival of the last two side correction coils on Friday 22 May, another procurement milestone has been achieved. The Chinese Domestic Agency has now delivered the full suite of 18 correction coils (6 bottom, 6 side, 6 top).

2026-05-18 - A convoy of two side correction coils is on its way to ���ߺ���—these are the last two of 18 superconducting correction coils required in the ���ߺ��� machine. Correction coils play a critical role in ensuring the stability and precision of the fusion machine’s magnetic environment.

2026-05-07 - European vacuum vessel sector #3 has arrived on the ���ߺ��� site. This is the fourth sector delivered by the European Domestic Agency Fusion for Energy, and the eighth to reach ���ߺ��� overall.

2026-04-27 - Vacuum vessel sector #3 has been loaded on a specialized barge on the south side of the Étang de Berre. The crossing will take just a few hours.

2026-04-23 - Currently close to 20 bellows—of 93 expected—are in storage at ���ߺ���. Bellows are the components that will accommodate movement between the plasma chamber and the cryostat (port duct bellows) and the cryostat and the Tokamak Building (port cell bellows).

2026-04-23 - European vacuum vessel sector #3 is unloaded in the French port of Marseille-Fos on Thursday 23 April. It will be transferred to a specialized barge in order to cross the inland sea of Berre.

2026-04-16 - Vacuum vessel sector #3 left the workshop of the AMW consortium this week and is travelling towards ���ߺ���. Sector #3 will be the fourth sector delivered by Europe and the eighth overall to reach the ���ߺ��� site.

2026-04-09 - As part of their transport to the project site, ���ߺ���'s largest and heaviest loads travel along a specialized road itinerary, which begins AFTER the loads first cross the inland sea of Berre on a barge. The weather was perfect for the crossing of this set of components—side correction coils from China—which will be the 199th highly exceptional load to travel along the ���ߺ��� itinerary.

2026-04-03 - The next convoys along the ���ߺ��� route mark a double milestone, carrying the final set of ���ߺ��� correction coils from China while also representing the 199th and 200th exceptional-load convoys to travel along the ���ߺ��� itinerary since 2015.

2026-04-02 - At the SITL logistics exhibition in Paris in April, the European Domestic Agency for ���ߺ���, the logistics group Daher, and the industrial river transport company CFT receive the “Green Shipper” award, recognizing the low-emission transport of ���ߺ���’s largest components across southern France’s inland sea Étang de Berre. The prize highlights the use of inland waterways as a cleaner alternative to road haulage for some of Europe’s most demanding cargo operations.

2026-03-07 - A 400-tonne vacuum vessel sector (#9, from Europe) is moved inside of an ���ߺ��� workshop and placed on stooling. When teams have finished with inspection and early assembly preparation work, the component will be transported across the road into the Assembly Hall (right).

2026-03-06 - Vacuum vessel sector #9 from Europe arrives on site in the early morning of Friday 6 March. This is the seventh sector (of nine) to be delivered. The final two are expected later this year.

2026-02-28 - Vacuum vessel sector #9 is loaded onto a flat-bottomed boat to cross the inland sea of Berre. When it arrives at ���ߺ��� next week, it will be the seventh sector on site. Two others are expected later this year to complete sector deliveries.

2026-02-21 - Vacuum vessel sector #9 is loaded on 21 February in Monfalcone, Italy. The 400-tonne sector—the third of five expected from Europe—will arrive at ���ߺ��� in March.

2026-02-11 - The next sector planned for arrival at ���ߺ���, sector #9, has been wrapped for transport in the Westinghouse Mangiarotti factory in Italy. It will be inserted into protective housing before it is transported to the Monfalcone quay for loading.

2026-01-16 - After a three-day journey travelling mostly at night along the ���ߺ��� itinerary, the spare central solenoid module is lowered onto pedestals at ���ߺ��� before being moved into a building for storage.

2026-01-13 - The spare central solenoid module is the final American-made component qualified as a “heavy exceptional load” to be delivered to France.
