The U.S. Burning Plasma Organization (US-BPO) coordinates the American efforts to support preparations for experiments on ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ. The BPO reports its activities through a newsletter that is posted on its . Jim Van Dam, University of Texas, heads the US-BPO. Chuck Greenfield, of General Atomics, is the Deputy Director. Nermin Uckan (ORNL) is Assistant Director for ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Liason. The BPO has 10 Topical Groups, each with its own Leader and Deputy Leader.
