These days, all attention at ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ is focused on construction and ultimately the achievement of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Tokamak's First Plasma. But at the same time, there are those who are already thinking beyond that date. During operation, how will we control the shape of the plasma and optimize plasma performance? Plasma control will be a crucial factor for the successful operation of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ. Axel Winter, a physicist from Germany and one of the first Monaco-±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Fellows, is leading the development of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ's sophisticated plasma control system.
