110 metres long, 44 metres wide and 27 meters tall—the Cryostat Workshop will house the on-site assembly of the four main sections of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ cryostat from 54 smaller segments manufactured in India.
The capacity of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Headquarters building will be increased in 2014. Foundation pouring will start in November for the 3,500 m² Headquarters extension, after which the five-storey structure will begin to rise at a rate of approximately one level every three weeks.

In November, reinforcement and concrete pouring works advance for the technical galleries and precipitation drainage networks that surround the Tokamak Complex.

When it's up in all its length and breadth in February, the temporary Cryostat Workshop with its dull-grey livery will be the second industrial building on the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ platform.
This 3-storey pre-fab structure is the first to go up in the platform contractors area. From these offices, the VFR consortium will manage the Tokamak Complex construction project. Each contractor chooses its own building style. This one is considered "Los Angeles" style.
Workers are completing the installation of 1,600 embedded plates before concrete pouring activities can begin in the Tokamak Complex Seismic Pit. These plates will provide extremely robust anchorage for the devices that need to be attached to the walls, floors or ceilings of the buildings.
