Laurent Ferrand
Laurent Ferrand joined ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ on 6 April as Divertor Technical Officer within the Tokamak Department. He had already spent two years in fusion before coming to work for ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ. He participated in the qualification of JET's ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ-like wall with Raphael Mitteau and in the development of the Divertor with Mario Merola.
Laurent and his partner live in Aix-en-Provence. In his time off he plays squash and enjoys hiking and skiing. He also like reading and going to the cinema and the theatre.
