Kijung Jung appointed Head of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Korea
Kijung Jung, previously Deputy Director General of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Korea, has succeeded Gyung-Su Lee as Director General of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Korea following GS Lee's appointment as President of the National Fusion Research Institute of Korea in September. The new Deputy Director General of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Korea is Joo Shik Bak, who was previously the chief officer responsible for KSTAR construction at the NFRI.
In a letter congratulating Kijung Jung on his appointment, ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Director-General Kaname Ikeda emphasized that Kijung Jung has demonstrated his commitment and enthusiasm for the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project on many occasions. "I would like to join the big welcome of your many friends in the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ community worldwide toward your promotion and do look forward to working together with you for the success of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ."
