On 1 November, 2006, the Office of Fusion Energy Sciences within the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) appointed Jeffrey C. Hoy as the U.S. ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Program Manager, with responsibility for governmental oversight of the U.S. contributions to ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ.
