±¬×ߺÚÁÏ

The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Council is the highest governing body of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ. It represents the seven ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Members—China, Euratom (European Union), India, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and the United States—and is responsible for the overall direction and oversight of the project.

The Council typically meets in June and November to review construction progress, schedule updates, technical issues, budgets, risks, and recommendations from its advisory committees. These meetings allow the members to make decisions and keep the project aligned with agreed objectives. The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Council met on 25 and 26 June for its first 2026 meeting under the chairmanship of Eisuke Tada (Japan). A report will be published in the next ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Newsline.
