The Governing Board of the European Joint Undertaking for ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ and the Development of Fusion Energy (Fusion for Energy) has appointed Frank Briscoe as Director ad interim. Briscoe was Operations Director at the UK's fusion centre at Culham in Oxfordshire and recently led an independent assessment of the cost estimates of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ for the construction of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ.

The Governing Board thanked the outgoing Director, Didier Gambier, for his work. Gambier will take up a new position with the European Commission in Brussels.
