The travelling European exhibition the Fusion Expo moves into Aix-en-Provence (only 30 minutes from ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ) in November 2012. With accessible explanations on fusion science, ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ and the next category of fusion device—the fusion power plant—the Expo is designed for the general public, students, and school groups.
On Saturday 6 October 2012, ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ will once again open its doors to the public. This second edition will offer the unique opportunity to descend into the foundations of the future Tokamak Complex and get a close-up view of the 493 pillars and seismic pads.

The first ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Robot contest will be organized on 19 June 2012 for junior high schools interested in raising the following challenge: building and programing small Lego robots to perform an ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ-like remote handling task.

The second edition of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Games, the friendly sports competition for people working on the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ project and residents of Saint Paul-lez-Durance and Vinon-sur-Verdon, will be organized on 15 September 2012 in Vinon.
