±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project Associates
The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project Associate (IPA) scheme allows Home Institutes from the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Members to assign employees on technical as well as support activities to the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ. Through this scheme, Home Institute employees can contribute through their expertise to strengthening the international cooperation and integration between the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ and the Domestic Agencies/±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Members.
The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project Associate scheme is open to any Home Institute who has signed a Memorandum of Understanding/Memorandum of Agreement (MoU/MoA) or a Cooperation Agreement with the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ defining areas of common interest. The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project Associate(s) will perform activities for the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ for a period of time defined by an Implementing Agreement signed between the Home Institute and the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ.
As of 1 March 2025, all the proposals for ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project Associates’ expressions of interest shall be submitted through the Home Institute’s Agency portal in the digitalized platform – SAP SuccessFactors. Proposals received by email will not be considered.
New entities (not having yet assigned IPAs) interested in submitting proposal as a Home Institute shall contact @email for guidance.

±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project Associate opportunities are limited to nationals from countries participating in the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Project (People's Republic of China, the European Union, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Russian Federation, Switzerland and the United States).

Purpose/Scope: The Blanket Assembly Transporter (BAT) is an in-vessel assembly equipment to perform assembly of the blanket modules inside of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ vacuum vessel. It is a redundant robotic arm with 10degree-of-freedoms and 10m-long reach. The blanket modules are composed of the first walls and shield blocks. The first walls weigh up to 1.4tons, and the shield blocks up to 3.1tons and 4.2tons depending on their locations. The scope of the task is:Ìý
