Giant switch to power ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ

This technical drawing (not an architect's rendition) clearly shows how the three-hectare switchyard that will deliver power up to 620 MW will be integrated into the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ site. The giant switch is composed of seven 400 kV transformers. Construction by Réseau de Transport d'Électricité (RTE) should begin in the coming weeks. © ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Design Office/Hurzlmeier/Niculici
